MENTOR
Our clients are incredible youth seeking care in the Ottawa region and valley. After facing difficulties in life, such as diagnoses, complex medical needs, or difficult adjustment periods, they are looking for support in their daily life and providing respite care for their family. Our clients have a wide range of interests, from sports and being active, to games, to reading, and everything in between! You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are passionate about helping youth, are reliable, love working in a team, and have experience supporting youth!

Requirements

Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Child and Youth Support Workers. In this role, you’ll be working with children and youth in the community living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, varying mental illnesses, and behavioural challenges.

Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique. Some clients need mainly in-home support. Others require support participating in community activities. Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their well-being.

As an independent contractor, you will have a better work life balance!
You can build your own schedule: you have the opportunity to grow your caseload and work within the hours that you're available and willing to work. However, we cannot guarantee a set amount of clients/hours.
