COMPANION CARE WORKER
A lovely lady in her 40’s with developmental delay, living in the Vanier area of Ottawa. A typical session would include going out into the community to visit stores, and explore new areas while providing great conversations and companionship. Our client likes going out into the community, visiting stores, and exploring new areas.

You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are someone who has their "G" level license and access to a reliable vehicle, is patient but can provide lots of prompts, and enjoys engaging in the community.

Please Note: The family has requested a caregiver who has received both doses of their COVID-19 vaccine.

Requirements

Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Support Workers. In this role, you’ll be supporting individuals in the community requiring direct care with personal hygiene, meal preparation, organization, and light housekeeping.

Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique. Some clients need mainly in-home support. Others require support participating in community activities. Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their wellbeing.
