A lively 13 year old with Autism and ADHD who is currently living in Nepean. As a tutor, you will support and assist him with his school work, focusing in English, and other subjects. Encourage and motivate him towards being receptive to school work, while making sure to give breaks and enjoying his preferred activities. He loves animation, video games, computers, and basketball.
You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are someone who has Autism knowledge and experience, and comfortable teaching grade 8 school subjects.
Please Note: The family has requested a caregiver that has received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.
Two sessions per week, two hours each from 2:45-4:45 on any weekday except Fridays.

RATE OF PAY

- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
- University and/or College education in a related field
- Driver’s License “G” class with access to a vehicle
- Valid NVCI, CPI, and/or TCI certification
Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Tutors. In this role, you’ll be supporting individuals virtually or in their homes with skill development, home-based learning, task maintenance, and subject-specific assistance.
Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique. Some clients need mainly in-home support. Others require support participating in community activities. Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their wellbeing.
