MENTOR
Our client is a fun 8-year-old boy living in Orleans. Having an Acquired Brain Injury after being involved in a car accident, he is looking for a buddy to play with him! He loves arts and crafts, trucks, cars, and games of all kinds.
The ideal candidate would be able to speak French, like to play, have experience working with kids, and have experience with acquired brain injury.
Please Note: the family has requested a caregiver who has received both doses of their COVID-19 vaccine.
HOURS
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2pm-7pm, Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm
RATE OF PAY
$20/hr
Requirements
- Cover letter outlining why you would be a great match for Spark. Tell us who you are!
- Valid First Aid and CPR Standard level C certification
- Smartphone with a data plan
- Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months)
Assets
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Driver’s License “G” class with access to a vehicle
- Valid NVCI, TCI, and/or CPI certification
Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Child and Youth Support Workers. In this role, you’ll be working with children and youth in the community living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, varying mental illnesses, and behavioural challenges.
