Our Mission

SPAN develops products that accelerate the rapid adoption of electrification in the home. The flagship SPAN Smart Panel is the first true evolution for the traditional home electric panel, harnessing enhanced technology for metering, monitoring, and control. An expanded product suite of intelligent, integrated solutions radically lowers the cost and complexity of energy upgrades–including solar, batteries, heat pumps, and EVs–empowering homeowners to be active, resilient and informed players in the energy market.

The Role

In this role, you will:

  • Generate, qualify, and manage new electrical contractor, HVAC dealer, and solar installer prospect accounts with a focus on small and medium sized businesses (SMB).

  • Manage relationships with existing SPAN installers, ensuring they are set up to succeed.

  • Work closely with SPAN's sales team to identify target customers, grow key markets, and develop programs that best support regional sales quotas.

  • Support installers in SPAN’s Authorized Installer Program, including identifying participants for the lead pass program, sales coaching, and performance reviews to ensure program success.

  • Be a subject matter expert on SPAN and adjacent technologies, leading product training and presentations on use cases, value propositions, and installation considerations.

  • Onboard SPAN installers, ensuring sales and operations teams are trained to effectively sell and install SPAN products.

  • Collaborate with SPAN Authorized Distributors to facilitate purchasing and drive regional activation with their sales teams.

  • Accurately forecast account installation activities in Salesforce and effectively manage your portion of the regional pipeline.

  • Develop and deploy account based marketing activities to drive better engagement and performance with assigned regional accounts.

Our team is quickly growing so be prepared for responsibilities to evolve over time. We are explicitly looking for people who are excited to roll up their sleeves and do whatever is necessary to find quality installers, help make them successful, and contribute to the overall growth of our business and mission of enabling whole-home electrification at scale.

Required Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and driven sales professional with:

  • Undergraduate degree in sales, business, marketing, engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years in a B2B sales or account management role, with direct experience helping customers through all stages of the sales process.

  • Demonstrated focus, tenacity, and grit, with a proven track record of successfully developing accounts even in the face of rejection and obstacles.

  • Proficiency in sales forecasting and pipeline management in CRM.

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to effectively interact across all communication channels, both virtually and in-person.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
