MACHINE MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE (STARLINK)
The machine maintenance associate's primary purpose is to provide support to ensure technicians are prepared and able to complete their tasks. This individual will work alongside technicians and engineers in maintaining and improving site functions. Their responsibilities include basic installation, labor, and inventory, among other assigned duties.
Support Starlink factory maintenance activities
Use basic hand tools such as
Use handheld measurement tools such as tape measure, micrometers and calipers
Project setup and staging
Maintain inventory, stock and issue requests for engineering and development shop
Drive forklifts and scissor lifts
Update calibration schedules and send tools out for calibration as required
Keep computer records up to date
General clean-up and maintenance of work areas
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
6+ months of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment or completion of a trade school program in mechatronics, manufacturing, automotive, electrical or machining
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience with electrical controls within a formal setting
Experience setting up workstations and organizing projects
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical repair
Experience troubleshooting and problem-solving skill sets
Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies, quality policies and industry standards
Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrate a high sense of urgency
Valid California state driver's license
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Ability to stand for extended periods - 8 hours min
Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces
Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting
