About the Job

The Account Manager I is a pivotal role for Sovnr’s future success. You will play an integral part in enhancing the Demand business by managing commercial relationships and driving revenue growth through increased commission rates, new publisher alignments, and sponsored content.  This position involves regular interactions with Sovrn’s advertisers, providing feedback to internal teams, and collaborating across all levels of the organization. It's an excellent opportunity for someone to gain hands-on experience in a highly commercial market and contribute to every aspect of the business. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Provide Merchants with strategic guidance and tactical support to ensure success across all Sovrn Commerce touchpoints, with a central focus on long-term revenue and client retention
  • Assist in the on-boarding of new enterprise publishers by establishing rate parity & securing competitive CPAs for your book of business
  • Leverage a variety of reporting tools to provide actionable insights to internal and external teams
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the Sponsored Content business by selling publisher inventory and Sovrn paid placements for a flat fee 
  • Offer demand partners strategic guidance and tactical support to ensure their success across all Sovrn Commerce touchpoints 
  • Partner closely with the Publisher Growth team to sell new publishers to your book of business
  • Travel to and host in-person meetings with your book of business and prospective clients
  • Provide in-market feedback to refine existing solutions and ideate new ones
  • Develop and nurture relationships with demand partners at all levels of the organization
  • Actively support cross-divisional initiatives and represent the perspectives and needs of the demand partners internally. 
  • Work closely with the publisher team to inform them of upcoming demand changes
  • Collaborate with Demand & Marketing team to highlight Sovrn’s core differentiators in-market

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a commercially oriented role
  • High degree of customer empathy and emotional intelligence
  • Familiarity with current commerce and affiliate landscape, and an understanding of Sovrn’s value proposition
  • Internet savvy and strong proficiency in office productivity tools (Gmail, Google Apps, Confluence/JIRA, Salesforce CRM)
  • Ability to put together and present high quality presentations in PowerPoint/Slides
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Looker, or similar analytical tools. 

Location: Boulder, Colorado  - Candidates must currently live in, or are willing to relocate to the Boulder/Denver area. Sovrn’s hybrid schedule includes onsite in our Boulder office. #LI-Hybrid

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this position is $58,000 to $70,000 annually. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package includes commissions, equity, and benefits. Actual earnings may vary depending on the candidate's direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
