The Strategy & Corporate Development team is responsible for developing our long-term corporate strategy and executing transactions that are crucial for achieving our strategic objectives. In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with internal business and functional leaders, target management teams, and third-party advisors to ensure seamless and timely deal execution
  • Support post-merger integration efforts, deal economics tracking, and the continuous monitoring and optimization of portfolio companies
  • Contribute to the development of SoundHound’s M&A capability, including building and enhancing relationships with third-party advisors, creating a standardized M&A ‘playbook’, and developing POVs on the various verticals within the Conversational AI landscape
  • Support our ongoing strategic planning process, working with business and functional leaders to set strategic objectives and track performance
  • Run analysis and build content to support a variety of strategy and M&A work streams, including (but not limited to) board and executive meeting presentations, corporate planning activities, competitive analysis briefs/reports, deal performance reports, and other high-visibility materials for ELT members

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • 2-4 years of experience and a strong record of accomplishment in top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, growth and/or private equity
  • Top-tier problem-solving skills, quantitative skills, and business acumen
  • Exceptional ability to concisely and persuasively communicate complex/ambiguous concepts to executive-level stakeholders both in-person and written
  • Experience building advanced financial models or data analyses
  • Familiarity with financial statements and concepts and an understanding of basic accounting principles
  • A proactive, “roll up your sleeves” mindset
  • Demonstrable interest in AI or leading-edge technologies
