SoundHound is looking for a Business Development Associate who will report directly to the Director of Business Development to (i) help manage a large pipeline of existing and potential automotive partners and (ii) help identify, develop and close new business opportunities and strategic partnerships in the automotive vertical.
You will have the unique opportunity to join as an early member of a fast growing and collaborative team currently working with to structure, negotiate and manage all aspects of the deal process. You will play a critical role identifying new market opportunities, developing business plans, managing a BD pipeline and driving increased revenue. As part of this role, you will engage closely with the Product Management team to gain alignment with the product roadmap.
At least 4 years of total relevant professional experience
Prior experience in each of the following
work in the Voice/AI space
engaging with automotive OEMs, or Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to OEMs
developing strategic sales plans for automotive OEMs putting together partnership roadmaps
growing relationships based on trust, and working with Senior Stakeholders and Executive teams
working with a broad set of customers, partners, and content providers to close business
Working in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities and customer needs
Willing to collaborate with multiple internal groups and cross-functional teams
Solid understanding of automotive market demands and technology trends
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable in front of large audiences
