SoundHound is looking for a Business Development Associate who will report to the Director of Business Development to (i) help manage a large pipeline of existing and potential partners and (ii) identify, develop and close new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. You will have the unique opportunity to join as an early member of a fast growing and collaborative team currently working with hundreds of partners to structure, negotiate and manage all aspects of the deal process. You will play a critical role identifying new market opportunities, developing business plans, managing a BD pipeline and driving increased revenue. As part of this role, you will engage closely with the Product Management team to gain alignment with the product roadmap.
At least 5 years of total relevant professional experience
At least one year prior experience in each of the following- Voice/AI space - working with customers in the following verticals: automotive, connected home, retail and hospitality - developing strategic sales plans - working with Senior Stakeholders and Executive teams, and growing relationships based on trust - working with a broad set of partners, content providers and customers to close business - working in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities and customer needs
Proven track record of selling complex solutions, ideally in the SaaS space, to large, multinational companies
Willing to collaborate with multiple internal groups to provide proposals and satisfy requirements
Track record of increasing revenue through lead generation
