What we are looking for: -

We're looking for a talented and passionate User Experience Designer and a problem solver to help make Soroco Products experience delightful and easy to use. Our ideal candidate can create elegant user-centered interfaces, demonstrate holistic reasoning with detail-oriented feature design, and can test them and implement the feedback quickly into the product. A capacity to advocate for our customers is an absolute must as this role will directly impact the way Soroco customers access all Soroco products and features.

As a Prouct designer, you will be responsible for understanding our users' needs and defining customer experiences that are cohesive with our apps across our product ecosystem. You can create simple and elegant experiences that account for complex user flows and technical considerations.

The role purpose and scope: -

• Proficiency with web design patterns and accessibility standards
• Ability to scope design initiatives accurately, prioritize work items appropriately, and meet project deadlines
• Nimbleness; the ability to understand requirements and turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups quickly in a fast-paced, iterative environmentKnowledge of how design impacts development; a knack for constructing dynamic, interactive designs that are technically feasible and prudent.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Experience and skills

• 0 - 4 years of experience in product, web, mobile, interaction design
• Strong online portfolio with demonstrated examples of designing great user-centered experiences/interactions and applications.
• Knowledge of UX & Interaction design principles
• Fluency using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Invision
• Demonstrated visual design expertise; capacity for creating engaging and usable designs and layouts with a propensity towards simplification
• Masters/Bachelor's Degree in user interface design, HCI, interaction design, visual communication/graphic design/product design, or related field preferred. May be substituted with significant industry experience and accomplishments.
