A selection of your responsibilities:

  • Conduct data mining and analysis using various available data sources.
  • Deliver actionable findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Advise and provide insights to optimize marketing plans and activities based on consumer behavior.
  • Develop informative dashboards that showcase the impact of artists and products on digital platforms.
  • Share the value of data in strategy implementation and marketing with colleagues, fostering enthusiasm and awareness.
  • Identify trends in the Dutch and Belgian streaming landscape through data analysis from our streaming partners.
  • Collaborate with data analysts from various international teams within Sony Music, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the latest trends.

Who are you? 

You are a curious self-starter that’s willing to try out new things. You have experience in data visualization and storytelling, with a talent for presenting complex information in a compelling and accessible way. With strong communication skills, you effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You have extensive knowledge in data analysis, mining, preparation, and visualization, leveraging these skills to uncover valuable insights. A passion for music and a deep understanding of music consumption are key attributes, allowing a unique perspective in analyzing trends and patterns. Fluency in spoken and written English is needed to effectively collaborate, as we work in an international environment.

And what else?

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a data-related field (Econometrics, Business, Marketing Intelligence).
  • You bring at least 3 years of experience in an analytical role.
  • Your expertise lies in tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Python, and SQL.
