As a Senior Financial Manager, you will play a critical role in the financial health and growth of the Organization. You will oversee financial operations across South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria, ensuring compliance with local and international financial and tax regulations. Working closely with the Financial Director, you will lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate with other departments to drive strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the company’s goals.
  • Oversee financial operations in South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria, ensuring efficient financial management and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Finance & Operations Director to optimize financial performance and strategic position
  • Manage, mentor, and lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with the Finance & Operations Director to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations and standards in all operating regions.
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including artists, producers, and distributors

Who you are:

  • Chartered Accountant
  • A minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements in South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across departments and regions
