What you will do:

  1. Searching for New Deal Opportunities
    • Explore new distribution opportunities through chart and sales trend analysis. 
    • Review distribution proposals via inbound channels.
  2. Negotiation and Execution of New Contracts 
    • Discuss and negotiate distribution contract structures with labels.
    • Draft and review contracts
    • Support headquarters approval process for major deals.
  3. Team Management 
    • Overall supervision of release processes, monitoring DSP exposure and chart performance through team members. 
    • Assess and oversee the status of relationships with partner labels.
    • Oversee and encourage searching and pitching for new contracts 
    • Set and manage KPIs for each team member. 
    • Monitoring sales and deal status.
  4. Label Relations 
    • Identify the needs of key partners and engage in relationship-building. 
    • Provide value-added services beyond simple distribution such as collaboration project and marketing support etc.
  5. Collaboration Across Departments and with External Partners 
    • Outbound: Share information and ideate to effectively utilize rosters with international potential. 
    • Business Development: Explore various collaboration opportunities including stake acquisition and joint ventures in addition to distribution contracts. 
    • Legal: Review and seek improvements in overall matters related to distribution contracts. 
    • International: Explore collaboration opportunities. 
    • Finance: Co-work related to sales, settlements, and payments. 
    • External Partnerships: Collaboration with Sony Music Publishing, Orchard, etc.
  6. Internal Reporting 
    • Regular internal and headquarters reports.
