Responsibilities include but not limited to the overall marketing tasks for K-Pop outbound digital and outdoor marketing:


What you will do:

  • Work closely with local and international Sony Music teams for stream and sales inducing marketing planning and execution
  • Devise and execute social media (ie tiktok, reels, shorts, etc) campaigns and creatives (including daily social media monitoring)
  • Maximize K-Pop artist roster exposure by expanding into new or existing promotional channels and platforms
  • Build tailored marketing plans for artists to target specific market or audience
  • Communicate, align, and pitch to DSP partners, agencies, and editors
  • Draft and service press releases to increase media coverage and awareness of new releases and important artist updates
  • Deliver and analyze streaming, sales, and social media data to provide insight and evaluate performance for reporting


Who you are:

  • You have a deep understanding and passion for K-Pop with a professional work experience of 1-5 years in the industry
  • You are near native/fluent in both English and Korean
  • You are a strong multi-tasker and can adapt to the ever-changing, fast-paced K-Pop industry and entertainment landscape
  • You are trend sensitive and up to date on the latest global music industry news
  • You have a good understanding of both local and global DSPs
  • You are experienced in digital and outdoor marketing and promotions
  • You have PR experience and have managed media relations
  • You are highly skilled in Microsoft, word, excel and powerpoint. (photoshop is a plus)
  • Education: University degree or equivalent
  • International Travel: no restrictions or issues with travelling internationally
