Sony Music ME is the leading international label in the MENA region operating within the Arabic music space. The label has signed and developed innovative song, video and content projects with artists across the region including Hamaki, Maya Diab, Barry, Wael Kfoury, Manal, 7Liwa and more. The Domestic Music team handles A&R, marketing, editorial, communications and content, to push our Arabic catalogue and frontline music across the Arab world. This is a role created to work within the domestic A&R and marketing team, to develop innovative new content campaigns that build artist to fan engagement, and drive awareness of our songs and artists. Creating content that reflects our regional audiences, their diverse passions and interests whilst helping to drive artist and song conversations across multi-channel formats. The role will also involve supporting the international team on local adaptations and optimization of global content for the regional audience


What you'll do:

•Create new visual assets, animation and content including social media posts, artwork, motion graphics and animation, short videos, info graphics and new concepts
•Support Associate Director in optimizing campaign roll out, with efficient delivery of content and assets, monitoring content performance and making creative adjustments and changes
•Develop editorial calendar around social media strategy to align with business goals, communicating with followers, respond to relevant queries in a timely manner
•Provide localization support for international digital marketing manager for global assets and regional campaigns
Stay close to Gen-Z and Arabic youth content trends and engagement patterns across META, Tik Tok, Snap and other platforms integrating those trends into domestic marketing campaigns. Ensure consistency and irreverence in content creation aligning with the artists and brand requirements, while also meeting usability and digital standards. Support Associate Director in new ideas to collaborate with creators/Influencers and enhance campaign content and audience engagement

Who you are:

•Previous Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a content/creative role working as part of a marketing or communications team 
•Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, video editing or a related field content field 
•Strong technical background in visual communications with previous experience in content creation for social platforms, video content & animation, artwork design and layout, editing and typography
•Core competency in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and be familiar with editing tools and files (.ai .psd .ae .id)
•Previous experience designing content for social platforms, and be able to demonstrate your understanding of these platforms
•Knowledge of content platforms, formats, and effective content flow 
•You will show creative flair from conception to execution and be focused on creating smart, fun and engaging content. 
•Experience working in entertainment, creative or fast paced agency environment   
•Fast Learning and Creative Problem-Solving skills.
•A portfolio of previous work (design, animations, videos, photos) to showcase experience and creativity.
•Knowledge of design and video  softwares programs, such as Photoshop, after effects, Premiere pro, lightroom, davinci resolve…, 
•Strong Camera, light and sound techniques knowledge
•Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for campaigns, and projects in English and Arabic 
•A team player with exceptional organizational and technical skills
•Must have a passion for music, content and culture
