As an Administrative Assistant, Radio Promotion, you will provide support to the radio promotion executives, to ensure the day-to-day operation of the department.

What you'll do:

  • Overall administrative support for Top 40, Rhythm, Hot AC, and Rock formats Day-to-Day admin for LA promotion team
  • Submit expense reports in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner for Top 40/Hot AC/Rhythm/Rock executives
  • Coordinate travel for Top 40/Hot AC/Rhythm/Rock executives
  • Book travel for contest winners and programmers for Hot AC format related events
  • Create Format Update reports
  • Providing weekly budget updates to Promotion Operations and designated format heads
  • Responsible for compiling and sending weekly Pop Promotion add sheet company wide
  • Main point of contact for invoicing for designated formats (providing PO’s, processing invoices, setting up new vendors for payment)
  • Coordinating Trade Advertising (including providing ad copy & delivery)
  • Serve as back up to cover promotional events/activity with local radio
  • Assist with execution of Meet and Greets for local shows when needed
  • Provide digital delivery of current singles
  • Provide and compile weekly airplay updates and Adds & Rotations report
  • Maintain promotion lists for radio stations
  • Secure and maintain files/invoices/quarterly letters in accordance with compliance guidelines
  • Monitor social media channels and create trendsetting reports
  • E-mail promotional materials to radio stations
  • Order and maintain office supplies and product requests for staff
 

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 1 year general administrative experience
  • Prior music industry and radio promotion experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, MediaBase, SoundScan, Shazam, Streaming Services and Photoshop
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a positive and professional demeanor
  • Strong background in Top 40/Hot AC/Rhythm/Alternative/Dance genres
  • High fluency in all social media channels & Digital Outlets
