As a Jr. Analyst, Royalty Audit, you will be an essential member of the Royalty Audit department, you will be participating in the process of responding to audits of Sony Music Entertainment undertaken by recording artists, music publishers and labor unions. You will have a critical role in supporting our leadership team in responding to auditor documents requests, audit claims and researching potential overpayments.
What you'll do:
Prepare responses to auditor fieldwork requests
Perform tracing and vouching activities and other reconciliations
Participate in various research projects related to audits or litigation
Execute pre-audit due diligence such as tabulating earnings, gathering recording agreements and prior audit working papers
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting
1-2 years of related work experience, preferably in audit, royalties or accounting
You have advanced technology skills which must include expertise in Microsoft Excel
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital
