Sony Interactive Entertainment America LLC seeks a Programmer in Los Angeles, CA to build and support technology that designers, artists and other content creators (customers) use to bring gameplay to life.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and tools to support gameplay, including animation, collision/physics, object/scene management. Prior experience must include three (3) years of testing and documenting code; profiling and tuning code to remove bottlenecks for gaming engineering systems; designing, prototyping and implementing scalable systems to improve game and engine related features; using vector math to analyze and solve complex game and engine related problems; performing software engineering in game development; and coding as a generalist.
