Engine/Pipeline Programming Intern
Santa Monica Studio
You will implement engine or tools technology as directed by more senior engineers
You will help maintain existing systems
You will be expected to collaborate with customers
You will write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code
Profile and optimize to remove bottlenecks
At least two years toward a B.Sc. degree in computer science or related field
Expertise in C and C++
Proficient in linear algebra
Strong teammate with excellent attention to detail
Dedication to code quality, documentation, and sound testing procedures
Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Interns should be hardworking, communicative, and enthusiastic.
Highly organized with a strong work ethic
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced game development environment
At least one completed self-directed, self-created game project (any size, any genre, any platform)
