Compiler Engineering Intern
San Mateo, CA
You are joining a global team of engineers contributing towards developing compilers and related tools. You are a self-starter who will develop a keen understanding of compilers all whilst performing research on topics that may include compiler optimization, code generation, debugging, security, parsing, semantic analysis, and more. You will find yourself crafting, implementing, and testing features and finding improvements for the compiler. You will have the opportunity to engage with the open source LLVM community on patch submissions, code reviews, and design discussions.
Strong C and C++ knowledge and development skills
Experience with debugging, performance analysis, and testing
End-to-end understanding of the tool chain – What are the steps and phases to translate C++ source code into a running program?
Knowledge, or desire to learn, of compiler internals including optimization, code generation, parsing, and more
Clear verbal and written communication
