Software Engineering Intern
San Mateo, CA
You will be an integral contributor to the Video Codecs by working with core engineering teams of encoders, decoders, and software developers.
You will develop a deep understanding of how video encoder and decoder software operates in gaming console.
You will also build and contribute to the project with creative and innovative ideas on improving PlayStation video services.
Additionally you will have the chance to explore leading academic and industrial research papers and present to the team.
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field), and/or within 1 year of their post-graduation date
Student pursuing a graduate degree is preferred
Familiar with Windows and/or Linux OS
Experience programming in C, C++, or Python
Experience in Video or Image Processing
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
