SIE is looking for a talented hardware engineer interested in pushing the limits of data center technology. As the leaders of Cloud Gaming, the Hardware & Systems Engineering team is responsible for the design of the server technology powering PlayStation Now and other SIE Cloud services. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop novel new software technology and assist with testing and validation. You have a broad knowledge on Linux / BSD userspace and kernel in addition to hardware technology from CPUs, storage and networking. Never a dull day, the healthy mix of both production and R&D projects ensures that the work is both challenging and fast paced.

Design and development of robust distributed systems.
Development of low-level userspace software and kernel drivers / features.
Troubleshooting performance and reliability issues at a global scale.
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or 10 years of relevant work experience.
5+ years of relevant programming experience in C/C++.
5+ years of experience in low-level Linux / BSD userspace and kernel development.
