This internship is for Summer 2019.
Our team focuses heavily on 3d/spatial audio and voice chat communications technologies. We work with internal teams as well as external companies to ensure both are end-users and developers get the best experience and tools needed for awesome sounding games. We are looking for someone to help clean up and improve our research tools, scripts, and data libraries, including adding new tools potentially used by PlayStation developers!
- Assist in refactoring and expanding audio research related code and tools
- Create scripts and tools to assist in audio research related
- Create DAW/VST plugin(s) related to audio research topics
- Refresh main audio rendering tool UI/UX
- Assist in assembling and cleaning library of MATLAB and similar scripts
- Write, run, participate in audio listening tests
- Programming experience: c/c++, MATLAB, python
- Audio, DSP, or VST-like programming experience
- DAW, Wwise tool, or similar usage experience
- Understanding of audio/psychoacoustics basic theory
- Familiar with git and svn
