In 2023, Firewalk joined PlayStation Studios and unveiled its debut project: Concord – an original sci-fi universe and PVP multiplayer FPS launching on PS5 and PC in 2024.

THE ROLE

Firewalk Studios is looking for a Marketing & Operations Lead who is interested in applying their marketing skills to help bring exceptional entertainment to millions of players. You will play a pivotal role in developing campaigns that drive engagement and retention across the Concord franchise in addition to building and managing the Firewalk Studios brand. In this role, you will partner with studio marketing operations and SIE publishing teams to execute go-to-market initiatives, inclusive of cultivating best-in-class creative across Firewalk’s internal creative services team. This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Operations for Firewalk Studios.

WHAT YOUR DAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE

  • Manage and cultivate the Firewalk Studios and Concord video game brands, ensuring brand consistency and messaging alignment across all marketing efforts.
  • Provide strategic insights to studio comms teams (community and social) to create and execute effective community campaigns across owned channels.
  • Lead internal studio cross-functional teams through seasonal planning, initiating campaign development and ensuring product positioning and marketing efforts are aligned across owned channels.
  • Collaborate with our global publishing team to execute a comprehensive marketing campaign roadmap for our live services game, encompassing launch, retention, and growth phases.
  • Partner with product team to identify player-first features and champion their integration into Concord’s development and go-to-market campaign strategies.
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of launching, sustaining, and growing live services games to inform marketing strategies and player engagement and retention efforts.
  • Partner with Director of Creative Services to lead asset development, from briefs through production schedules, and coordinate global releases across multiple platforms in partnership with Sony brand team.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Director of Marketing and Operations on crucial internal studio projects, contributing to the overall success and growth of the studio.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns for live service video games or related entertainment products.
  • Adept at finding and applying data driven insights to build engaging marketing and social content.
  • Deep knowledge of marketing asset production timelines and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the gaming market, industry trends, and FPS category.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to hit deadlines.
  • Proficient in traditional and digital media planning, including programmatic and growth.
  • Analytical mindset, proficient in utilizing marketing analytics tools to track campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
