Finance Assistant (Remote, Brisbane)

Repeat Technologies (A subsidiary of Sony Interactive) are seeking a meticulous and experienced Finance Assistant to oversee our procurement and payment processes for digital goods and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payments, creating and managing relationships with digital vendors, negotiating contracts and monitoring digital inventory levels.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the procurement and payment procedures for digital goods and services

• Evaluate and select digital vendors, negotiate contracts and ensure that vendors align with agreed terms and conditions

• Place orders for digital goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and accurate invoicing • Monitor inventory levels of digital goods and services to ensure that adequate supplies are available

• Ensure that all digital purchases and payments are in compliance with company policies and regulations

• Maintain accurate records of all digital purchasing and payment transactions

• Reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies related to digital purchases and payments • Process payments for digital goods and services in a timely and accurate manner

• Liaise with internal team members and external digital suppliers to resolve any issues or disputes related to digital purchases and payments

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce procurement costs for digital goods and services

• Prepare reports on purchasing and payment activities related to digital goods and services as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Purchases and Payments Officer or similar role

• Familiarity with procurement regulations and standard processes for digital goods and services

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships for digital goods and services

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions for digital goods and services

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in MS Office is required, experience with Xero accounting software would is desirable
