Responsibilities:
- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for network security products. This includes writing code in languages such as python or ruby or Perl or Java/Java script TCL or C and Selenium to automate testing tasks, such as functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of network security products by executing test cases, analyzing test results, and reporting defects. Collaborate with development teams to investigate and resolve issues, ensuring that software releases meet quality standards
- Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network security testing. Continuously explore new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
- Documentation: Document test procedures, test cases, and test results to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure reproducibility of test scenarios. Create user documentation and release notes to communicate product features and changes to stakeholders
- Security Testing: Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential security risks in network security products.
- Integration Testing: Conduct integration testing to ensure seamless interoperability between network security products and other software components and systems. This involves testing compatibility with various network devices, protocols, and platforms.
Requirements:
- Must have good programming and analytical skills.
- Must have good knowledge in at least one programming/scripting languages python or ruby or Perl or Java/Java script TCL, C and Selenium).
- Must have experience in writing code.
- Must have networking and security domain knowledge
Education and Experience:
- BE/BTech Computers or MCA/MTech Computers or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in QA with Automation
