Technical Support Engineer Associate - Spanish Speaking

  • Excellent analytical skills; is able to analyze a situation, apply problem solving techniques and suggest improvements.
  • Strong problem solving skills; preferably from experience in large and complex network scenarios
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize problems as they arise
  • Is able to deal with complex issues in a timely manner, and provide suggestions and improvements to customers along the way
  • Excellent communication skills is a must, as you will be speaking with SonicWall’s customers!
  • Provide technical leadership and training to other team members, where and if required
  • Monitors and tracks issues to ensure accurate resolution.
    • Focuses on delivering a positive customer experience according to SonicWall standards.
  • Recreates, identifies and provides input on unique or recurring customer problems.
  • Advises/educates customers within procedural guidelines to ensure a complete solution to their technical or service questions.
  • Owns customer issues from beginning to resolution (handles in place)
  • Must speak English and Spanish fluently.

Experience

  • Extensive experience with network routing and switching; experience includes but is not limited to handling customer escalations.
  • Good understanding of Security, LAN/WAN topologies and technologies.
  • Ability to work in a high-level stress situations, including and interrupt driven environment
    • Strong understanding of L2-L7 networking protocols, HA (High availability), State Sync, Network Cluster and major Operating Systems such as, UNIX / Linux
  • Experience in Enterprise network security setups and requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of OSI Model, TCP/IP, Network Security basics, Routing, Switching.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Sciences/ Electronic & Communications Engineering or equivalent work experience

Certification

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) strongly desired

Languages

English is essential; any additional language is a strong asset!
