Position Summary:
In this role, you will coach, develop, and oversee the field sales team in canvassing efforts in the Peninsula, California. This role is responsible for performing observations of door-to-door sales, sales coaching, and side-by-side selling in an effort to reach sales goals. The Field Sales Lead will communicate accurate sales statistics to the Field Sales Supervisor throughout the day.
Candidates for this position must live in the Peninsula OR San Francisco, California.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt/hourly position.
Travel:
Travel is expected for this position. A valid California Driver’s License and Clean DMV are required. Reliable vehicle and auto insurance are also required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for driving door-to-door sales results with the field sales team and to provide hands-on support in the field.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Aptitudes:
- Responsible for coaching, development, and accountability of field sales team
- Side-by-side selling of Sonic services with the field sales team
- Monitor success of field sales team and suggest areas of opportunity for improvement
- Provide Field Sales Supervisor with performance statistics
- Drive field teams to achieve sales goals and daily average targets
- Maintain current marketing and sales materials in the field
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocol
- Responsible for handling escalations, account errors, and training issues
- Maintain positive working relationships and open communication within all workgroups
- Patient, well organized, and can adapt well to fast-changing environment
- Maintain a positive attitude and be an ambassador for Sonic’s mission, vision, and values
Pay Scale: $20.50 PLUS Commission

Work Environment:
The field sales team canvasses outdoors in various communities and is exposed to varying climates and elements when canvassing, which are determined by Mother Nature.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; key/type. The employee is consistently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
