What You'll Do

Our ideal Financial Analyst with experience in investment banking or management consulting and a passion for energy and power will be an integral contributor to the next generation of our business. You'll be providing effective financial models and business analytics to ensure Soluna is meeting its short-term and long-term objectives. If you are results-driven, get a kick out of solving problems and are eager to be a part of the future of digital assets, then you will love working at Soluna.

The Financial Analyst will be a resourceful self-starter, adding value through intellectual curiosity and strong interpersonal skills. Reporting into the CFO, the Financial Analyst will have the opportunity to work across virtually all aspects of the business to support the growth of capital formation, new projects and pipeline development. 

You will:

• Maintain financial models and providing other quantitative analysis to support formation and site development activities at Soluna
• Identify and use a variety of public and private sources to complete various ad hoc analysis 
• As needed, support in financial, commercial and due diligence of counterparties. Provide written analysis of findings
• Provide financial analysis of existing Soluna projects and sites
• Work closely with leadership peers to propose and implement performance optimizations and scaling strategies

What You Need to Get the Job Done

• 2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, management consulting or venture capital
• MBA/CFA/CPA preferred but not required
• Energy sector experience is preferred but not required. 
• Experience in infrastructure investing strongly preferred. 
• Interest in cryptocurrencies and renewable energy is required. 
• Excellent analytical ability
• Prior experience with preparing financial modeling
• Attention to detail and desire to learn
