As a Product Marketing Manager, you will build the creative foundation of our brand and will be the voice of our product and company with the goal to drive and foster external awareness towards Solsten. You will be responsible for building and providing our team with the information it requires to accelerate sales and be the champion of new product innovations. This role requires a strong appetite for growth, high curiosity to understand our customers' needs, autonomy, and project management skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build the overall Solsten marketing strategy in close collaboration with the founders and monitor our goal attainment for continued improvement.
  • Own the Go-to-Market launch process driving new features & product adoption into the market.
  • Proactively engage with our product team to communicate our product roadmap and features to the market in a structured and clear manner supporting our overall go to market strategy.
  • Develop narratives, collateral, events aimed at increasing our engagement with our customers along the entire customer journey.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that articulates how Solsten helps solve client needs in a highly differentiated manner.
  • Together with our growth and demand generation team, track and measure the impact of our programs and use insights/learnings to optimise initiatives for better impact continuously.
  • Refine & develop buyer personas together with our UX team that improve the whole team's understanding of the customer & their pain points.
  • Build expertise on our buyers, how they buy and on their buying criteria. Your marketing is biased towards customers over competitors.
  • You will support our commercial and industry partnerships with planning and executing marketing initiatives such as, but not limited to, joint events, conferences, as well as building marketing collateral.
  • Be the product spokesperson. Demo our product in virtual events; showcase the best of Solsten to external stakeholders.

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • You bring a minimum of 4 years of full-time product marketing experience, preferably in a fast-growing SaaS company or marketing agency.
  • You bring great experience in building highly effective content and nurture strategies (including web funnel, asset strategy) and in drafting and designing creative assets that nurture interest along our entire customer journey.
  • You bring experience in partnering with Sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and deliver offers and campaigns that resonate deeply with customers along the buyer’s journey.
  • You bring experience with sizing market segments and building product strategies with your product team to address those markets.
  • You are a master of empathy and understand our customers and their needs as good as anybody. You understand how to create resonating messages and content that are in line with what our customers are looking for.
  • You are skilled in using state of the art marketing tools to build, adapt and distribute content, and structure marketing insights (e.g. Hubspot, Photoshop, Sketch, or Figma)
  • You have a passion for understanding and improving product acquisition, onboarding, growth, and engagement models.
  • You are a self-motivated team player and ability to work in fast-paced environments with minimal oversight.
  • You are a great communicator and communicate proactively and straightforward, while demonstrating excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You have very strong written communication skills and can express complex information in an easily understandable manner.
  • You listen well. You create alignment by default and can drive hard decisions when needed. You push the pace. People love working with you.
  • Last but not least, you possess excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and shift workload to meet deadlines.

We are open to start working together remotely but this role is expected to be located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, or Berlin, Germany, in the mid-term.
