Solomon Partners is seeking a talented and motivated Associate to join our Distribution team, focusing on M&A advisory.
This position will provide the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on high-profile transactions and will afford you a high level of autonomy, massive growth trajectory, and close mentorship opportunities across the firm.
Location: Tampa, FL
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting quantitative, economic, industry, and company-specific research and analysis
Supporting all financial modeling, valuation, comparable and relative value analyses, and market-specific analysis
Assisting in drafting client pitch and marketing materials for M&A transactions
Supporting the modeling of a broad range of corporate finance alternatives and conducting due diligence for transactions, including M&A, strategic alternatives, capital structure development, and acquisition financing
Assisting in the research, facilitation and coordination of sector specific idea generation
Collaborating with internal and external teams to support the development and cultivation of client and company relationships
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience
Experience with M&A advisory transactions
Superior Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel
Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets, and risk & pricing analysis
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Maturity and good judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
Creativity, intellectual curiosity, and ability to effectively convey ideas
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
