The growth and success of Sol Mental Health is dependent upon hiring great team members and clinicians and providing them the tools, resources, and experiences to help them become successful. As a Human Resources Generalist you will support the People Team programs and objectives that will enable employee-oriented, high performance outcomes in support of Sol Mental Health culture and values.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports team members across multiple markets/states with general HR support. Answers questions, provides information related to policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance to managers and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development on the successful onboarding of new team members. Responsible for HR and IT system onboarding/offboarding.
  • Perform research/investigation into employee relations issues, as requested by the CPO.
  • Maintain job documentation and job evaluation system; creates job descriptions as requested by CPO.
  • Administer new hire surveys and exit interviews. Partners with the CPO to summarize feedback for quarterly reporting.
  • Maintain HRIS system (Paylocity) and liaises with Payroll (third party) on timely and accurate payroll processing. Provides reports as needed.
  • Support benefits administration including new hire and annual open enrollment and qualifying event changes.
  • Administer LOA’s; coordinates benefits with vendors and team members ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain employment files.
  • Support/deliver proactive communications from the People Team; look for opportunities to create clarity and build trust.
  • Identify areas for HR optimization, make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Support the CPO with projects as requested.
  • Partner with the TA and L&D teams with initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of Federal, state and local laws pertaining to personnel administration and compensation and benefit plans and practices.
  • Be a great team member; collaborate and positively contribute to team and company culture.
  • Maintain a robust social operating system, ensuring proactive and timely communication with stakeholders and partners.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience. PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
  • 2-3 years’ of HR experience required; experience in a healthcare/healthcare services setting is preferred.
  • Position requires training and/or experience in various areas of Human Resources - Talent Acquisition, Policy & Procedures, Employee Relations, Benefits and Compensation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with little direction needed for completion of projects.
  • Exceptional team player who can build collaborative relationships and establish trust with team members across the organization.
