As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will play a key role in supporting all office operations. Under the direction of the Office Manager, you will assist patients, clinicians, and non-clinical staff to positively impact the client experience, patient care, and clinician satisfaction. You will ensure the seamless operation of the clinic, promote a positive client experience and clinician satisfaction, and be generally involved in all day-to-day aspects of the clinic.
How you will have an impact:
- Support general day-to-day practice operations from the front desk to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Work extensively within the Company’s electronic health record (EHR) to manage client and clinician workflow, scheduling activities, billing initiatives, and other practice management functions.
- Manage all client scheduling activities such as phone services, email inquiries, general logistics, etc.
- Maintain accurate schedules and notes in our electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide timely and direct communication with clients regarding any services required.
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients, customers, and referral sources.
- Along with the Office Manager, manage and support client journey and client engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures in accordance with State and Federal Regulations for client care and services (HIPAA, CMS, OSHA, or other governing agencies).
We seek a Medical Office Receptionist that:
- Is experienced working within a healthcare service setting (preferred).
- Has experience with front-desk service activities such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, operating within the practice management system to include patient registration tasks, insurance verification, collection and posting of time-of-service collection of copay and deductible amounts, as well as check-in/check-out processes.
- Has solid working knowledge of insurance plans; group health, HMO, PPO, etc.
- Is professional and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Can interact and work professionally and effectively with a diverse population.
- Is highly organized and able to juggle many tasks at once.
- Can demonstrate positive team interactions and promotion of company culture with other clinical team members.
- Has a strong work ethic, passionate and enthusiastic personality with a high degree of integrity, humility, and a positive attitude.
