As the Senior Manager, Creative Data Asset Archivist you’ll:

  • Lead the governance, research, guidance, enforcement, and tool development of DAM systems.
  • Establish an architecture for management of folders, permissions, naming and access for all Design files globally.
  • Manage Creative Digital Assets – Imagery, Photo, Video, Audio, Fonts, Cataloging, Organizing, Storage, Distribution.
  • Responsible for collecting, managing, archiving, and protecting Sol de Janeiro’s Creative Assets. This role will be the administrator of the DAM system and backup servers, serving as the asset librarians and curators of all creative work for the company. To fulfill these duties, the role will utilize, optimize, and introduce improvements to our existing systems to ensure that all assets are appropriately organized and tagged for all company stakeholders to access.
  • Apply meaningful metadata tags to assets according to a consistent methodology.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder relationships and expectations, with empathy and diplomacy.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5-7 years in a digital asset management role or working very closely with a digital asset management system.
  • Experience working with marketing assets; automation of asset generation and output a plus.
  • Strong organization with attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and patience for a role in a creative and collaborative environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with comfort in working cross-functionally but also independently.
  • Smart, creative thinker with a sense of humor and excellent communication skills.
  • Has the natural passion to work in a creative environment with the emotional intelligence and sensitivity to work with creative.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, embrace change, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in working in DAM and file-storage platforms/servers.
  • Knowledge of conventional file formatting and usage.
  • Experience in working with metadata, tagging and file-naming of content.
Salary Range
$115,000$125,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
