Your Future Team

Product as a team ensures a constant and state of the art development of our innovative financial products. In order to master this challenge, the Product Team always wears different glasses and changes perspectives. We deal with many internal stakeholders since they are orchestrating the whole product lifecycle.

Our Credit Products comprise a wide variety of Consumer and SME lending products such as Revolving and Charge Cards, BNPL, Fronting, Overdrafts, Trade Finance among others. As the business and product portfolio is growing we are now looking for a new colleague to join the team of developers and fellow Product Owners for the Lending unit. 

Your Role 

  • You own and drive the product vision for the Credit Card products, its strategy and priorities together with your fellow PO’s
  • You are in charge of the backend of our Credit Card Product, defining it’s backlog and ensure that the Product Development Team understands it and can deliver it 
  • You build Credit Card products with smooth customer and partner experience, understanding the full credit lifecycle of a customer
  • You bring together the interests of partners, end-customers and Solaris
  • You negotiate priorities, scope and timelines and ensure that your roadmap is aligned in terms of feature specs and delivery dates with everyone interested
  • Together with your stakeholders (internal and external) you scope with a strong e2e mindset in order to shape up your products and processes
  • You build scalable products that can be rolled out internationally to enable the expansion of Solaris and our partners across Europe

 

We'd love to see 

Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities and scope of role will range. We don’t care much about fancy titles, but rather about real personal and professional development, as laid out in our learning framework. Let’s figure together out how you can contribute to our team.

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as Product Owner in an agile development environment
  • You have prior experience in the banking industry, have ideally worked in Digital Lending/Credit or Credit Cards and know the trends and competitor landscape
  • You have clear knowledge of the end to end card flow including onboarding, scoring, account and application creation and collections and the accounting behind it
  • You are highly analytical and solving complex problems is what excites you
  • You are data and outcome driven and dig for the business KPIs before start building
  • You are a collaborative nature and take your development team and the stakeholders in for finding the right solutions
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus (written and verbal)
  • Experience in expanding products and processes to new countries is a plus
