About your team

As part of the Pricing team of Solaris Group, you are responsible for establishing and maintaining Solaris Group's overall pricing strategy from which product and individual deal pricing will be derived. The overarching objective is to strengthen Solaris’ revenue streams on a sustainable basis. Your main responsibility is to establish a value-based pricing approach and establish guidelines to enable automated and delegated decisions. You will also closely collaborate with our commercial teams on business analytics, using SQL and Tableau to visualize results.

Your Role 

  • Develop a deep understanding of Solaris Group's business model, the European financial services market, our competition and the need of our existing and new partners.
  • Define pricing strategy and standard pricing guidelines for selected current and new products and features based on historic deals as well as leveraging market insights.
  • Deal support for sales and onboarding teams. Consult and guide partner-facing teams to optimize profitability of each deal.
  • Create pricing processes (approval flows) to ensure documentation, pricing integrity, value-based pricing and monitoring.
  • Build and align business cases and pricing calculators for selected units. Show deal profitability in a synchronized format to enable management to drive decisions based on deal economics and profitability.
  • Train team members and familiarize them as well as other stakeholders with Solaris Group's pricing philosophy, guidelines and processes.

What You Should Bring Along

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field. Master’s degree in these fields or an MBA will be highly valued.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Pricing, ideally in other financial institutions and/or fintechs (experience with Salesforce, SQL and Tableau beneficial).
  • You possess an entrepreneurial hands-on and can-do mentality combined with exceptional analytical expertise and great attention to detail.
  • At the same time, you are a strong team player and an effective and convincing communicator, who can operate in a diverse team, cross-functionally, takes ownership and demonstrates self-initiative to further develop the area.
