As a Partner Success Manager - Lending, you will be responsible for client retention and growth. At solarisBank, we value our clients as partners, so you will grow relationships with an expanding set of clients and proactively ensure that they continuously derive the value they expect from our partnership. Managing the post-sale client lifecycle, you’ll work towards ensuring that our clients continue to view solarisBank as a trusted business partner with whom they can dream big.

The Role:

  • You work closely with other teams within the company, namely our commercial and on-boarding teams, to understand your customers' vision, roadmap, expectations, KPIs and challenges.

  • You are your clients’ trusted point of contact within the company, who engages other teams to make things happen for them. Therefore, you are customer-focused and work for the long-term, every day.

  • You acquire a detailed understanding of our products’ characteristics in order to provide API expertise and drive feature adoption. 

  • You bring your customers' voice into discussions centred around product development and product performance.

  • You leverage various metrics to assess your clients' health.

  • You understand how to design adequate customer success strategies.

  • You detect and qualify up-sell and/or renewal opportunities.

  • You have an eye for spotting at-risk customers and turning them around.

  • You join a young Partner Success team and contribute to its development by implementing and/or optimizing processes. 

  • You will be a key member of our Lending Unit, a cross-functional organization tasked with building innovative lending products. 


Your Profile:

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience with a credit institution. You have ideally managed credit facilities or other forms of financing such as Factoring.

  • You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing role with international customers, ideally on behalf of a technology or financial services company, managing commercial relationships.

  • You possess excellent communications & presentation skills, as this role will bring you to speak with C-level executives as well as finance, credit risk and product teams among others. You are able to establish working relationships internally and externally in order to get things done.

  • You have an analytical mind with an affinity for financial topics. You see the bigger picture just as clearly as the details. 

  • You are tech-savvy: though you don’t have to possess a thorough understanding of API-based products, you are willing to understand & work on technical subjects when needed.
  • You are fluent in German and English, verbally and in writing

  • You hold a bachelor degree or higher

  • You feel comfortable with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements

  • You are able to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
