We are now ready to scale up our go-to-market function with your help.  This is an opportunity to join an early stage team in one of the hottest areas of Web3, where ownership and accountability are core to your success along with collaboration across the team. Your role will expand as the result of your ability to drive revenue growth.

You are an experienced sales/BD professional with a background in games or blockchain (or both), selling B2B products. You can straddle the line between professionalism from other industries and congeniality of the Web3 industry, seamlessly moving between various written, virtual, and live venues of communication. Although sales is very much a relationship management exercise, you understand and value structure and process to drive efficiency and throughput, and are equally comfortable in meetings with prospects and managing your CRM.

Solana Labs, Inc. (“Solana Labs”) is a technology company that builds products, tools, and reference implementations that can be used on the Solana blockchain. GameShift is a dedicated team within Solana Labs. We are fully distributed and work on US time zones. 


Your initial focus will be on managing the top part of our sales funnel that needs to be run like a machine, with routine pipeline grooming, outbound lead generation, relationship management, and driving leads to conversion. As you get more comfortable with our product, you will assume responsibility for the entire sales lifecycle and have the opportunity to lead our growth as a company.

  1. Generate and qualify leads. Outreach to games teams through virtual channels and in-person events. Triage inbound interest from all sources. Ensure prompt effort is made to qualify leads.
  2. Develop new sales strategies. Work with marketing, design, product, and engineering as needed to implement new strategies for increasing interest in GameShift. 
  3. Manage sales process. Each lead needs to be moved systematically through our pipeline according to mutual fit and readiness to buy. This includes maintaining warm relationships with leads. Engage leadership, customer success, and engineering for later-stage opportunities. Drive leads to conversion.
  4. Main POC for customers. Remain the primary contact for our customers post-close, ensuring questions are answered on a timely basis across all domains. This part of the role will reduce over time as we expand and grow our customer success team.
  5. Educate our team on sales and  industry trends. Stay up to date on the gaming industry both within and outside of crypto, and bring your learning back to our team. Provide your feedback from the sales process to our team in order to improve the product.


  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS sales role (AE, SDR) with responsibility for lead generation, qualification, and management of the sales pipeline
  • Prior experience with gaming and/or crypto
  • Demonstrated self-starter mentality, resourcefulness, and independence.
  • Process orientation evidenced by ownership of sales processes
  • Professional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • CRM power user

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Strong network within the Web3 gaming industry outside of Solana
  • B2B SaaS sales experience with back end infrastructure services
  • Intermediate understanding of Solana technology, token standards, and marketplace/DEX ecosystem players
  • Understanding of fiat payment systems
