Basic Functions & Scope

The SEO team is responsible for optimizing our responsive websites with the goal of increasing our clients' organic presence in search engines results. An SEO Analyst Coordinator will focus on driving SEO improvement through month-over-month data analysis and task management, evaluating client and campaign performance while communicating results and strategies to the Account team. Sokal provides each SEO Analyst Coordinator with a set of tools, giving you the opportunity to develop your skill set. With the industry always changing, a willingness to learn new things and/or processes is important. 

Position Responsibilities

Website Optimization

  • Create, monitor and troubleshoot all website metadata
  • Maintain consistent and effective communication with content writing services
  • Maintain, proof and post content from writing services to our client websites, monitoring for accuracy
  • Maintain, proof and occasionally write efficient website content pages that properly utilize SEO best practices
  • Stay up to date on relevant SEO industry best practices while looking for ways to improve overall effectiveness
  • Create and present reporting for end user on effectiveness of SEO campaigns and strategies

Website Maintenance

  • Review and update all vehicle-model research pages when necessary
  • Maintain client “Google My Business” profiles, actively verifying links for accuracy
  • Ensure directory listings and keyword campaigns are monitored and correct
  • Redirect broken links to proper pages
  • Troubleshoot all other issues as needed

SEO Package Implementation

  • Strictly adhere to calendar deadlines
  • Continually optimize client websites, creating content that maximizes the ability to reach the target audience
  • Use SEO tools (Google Webmaster, Yext, Moz, etc.) to ensure ongoing website optimization throughout all search engines
  • Perform all  specific package-level duties for each client

Communication

  • Connect with Web Teams and Account Coordinators and Managers as needed to ensure the ease of workflow along with the timely completion of all projects
  • Work closely with other SEO team members, updating the department on all necessary changes throughout the duration of each project
  • Assist colleagues with website-related instructions when necessary
  • Monitor TEAMS for updated project tasks, which are assigned by the team lead

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equal years of experience to demonstrate the necessary competencies required for the position
  • Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a keen ability to effectively communicate ideas to co-workers and other departments
  • Basic Knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5 are highly desired
  • Must be a team player in all avenues
  • Superior time and task management skills
  • Strong desire to learn along with an eagerness to interface with new technologies.
