Job Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the design, architecture, and implementation of cutting-edge electrical systems across a diverse range of projects. You will work alongside a collaborative team of engineers to find and develop the right solutions for the problems at hand. What You Will Do:
- Support the design, architecture, and development of electronic systems
- Work closely with internal engineering teams and external customers to build solutions across multiple industries (aerospace, renewable energy, medical devices, etc.)
- Take ownership from schematic capture and PCB layout through hardware bring-up and troubleshooting
- Participate in early-stage calls with new customers and review cost and labor estimates
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related field
- Experience with end-to-end electronics design, including requirements generation, schematic design, board layout, design verification and acceptance testing
- Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated passion for engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to overcome technical challenges
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills; ability to explain design decisions and component selections
- Experience in any common ECAD tool, such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence, PADS, EAGLE, etc.
What Would Be Useful:
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Experience in a team-based design and build project (e.g., Formula SAE, Solar Car, CubeSat, etc.)
- Experience designing PCBs for high-reliability applications (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical)
- Experience with analog small-signal circuit design (filters, op-amp circuits, signal conditioning) and/or power electronics designs: regulators, load drivers, supply filters, protection circuitry
