What the Role Is:

Reporting to SVP of People, Scott Slipy, the Vice President of Talent Acquisitions will be responsible for driving the recruiting strategy in support of Socure’s significant growth in the coming years with its unique culture and values in mind. The successful candidate will have broad responsibility over full lifecycle recruiting while continuing to build on the foundations already set in place. 

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in talent acquisition and retention strategies. Educate internal leadership and hiring managers on best practices in recruitment, interview training, and employer branding.
  • Architect and implement a rigorous, engaging, and data-driven talent acquisition strategy that enables Socure to scale with confidence.
  • Build a stellar talent acquisition team, and provide development/coaching opportunities so that everyone can grow with respect to scope, autonomy, and impact.
  • In partnership with the Chief People Officer, build and enhance Socure’s playbooks for sourcing, attracting, vetting, and closing talent across all key role types (e.g. technical, sales, CS, and G&A).
  • Design, monitor and drive against KPI’s that measure cost per hire, time to hire, quality of hire, attrition, competitive hiring measures, and new hire engagement measures.
  • Create and publish key metrics reports to Socure leadership to show the health of the talent pipeline, time to fill, cost per hire, diversity of talent pipeline.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in talent acquisition strategies to key stakeholders. Educate internal leadership and hiring managers on best practices in recruitment, interview training, and employer branding.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand key pain points and thus align the TA strategy and service level agreements to business needs. 
  • Architect and implement a rigorous, engaging, and data-driven talent acquisition strategy that enables Socure to scale with confidence.
  • Evaluate, improve, and streamline current recruiting tools, technologies, partnerships and processes around sourcing, assessment, and selection to ensure an ironclad and centralized TA function.
  • Partner with Socure’s education team to develop training modules for recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with Socure’s operations and finance teams to contribute to strategic and financial forecasting and planning.
  • Partner with marketing to drive strategies and programs for strengthening Socure’s brand awareness among prospective employees in different talent pools, including diverse talent pools.
  • Manage, develop, and inspire a team of high performing TA managers and technical recruiters in attracting, recruiting, and hiring top talent across all markets.
  • Ensure exceptional service levels across all key partners (candidates, hiring managers, HR business partners.
  • Identify and implement additional initiatives that improve candidate experience, including programs that help set-up candidates for success as well as support relationships with candidates in talent pipeline.
  • Drive effectiveness and efficiency in overall manager experience by identifying areas for greater consistency, and by supporting managers with their recruiting-related SLAs.
  • Improve recruiting and sourcing capabilities by continuously assessing recruiting processes,roles, technologies, and key performance indicators to see opportunities for improvementProfessional Qualifications.

  • Proven track record of success with 10+ years of recruiting leadership experience in high growth tech companies. 
  • Demonstrated success in scaling organizations, aligning talent acquisition strategies with both high growth business and culture objectives. 
  • Solid example of training and developing recruiting talent, combined with outstanding management skills
  • Deep expertise in building an attractive employment brand by leveraging social media, marketing and other platforms.
  • Strong on strategic approach, data/analytics, system thinker and skilled at using data and analytics to develop insights and drive decisions.
