ROLE

Ogilvy Social.Lab's Data & Automation team in Brussels is seeking a motivated Data Analysis Intern to join our dynamic, global team. As part of WPP Global, you'll collaborate with partners from Europe, UK, Africa, and the US, contributing to our innovative approach to marketing data. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, creative environment. 

We are currently accepting applications for a 3–6-month internship for the winter semester. Please note that a university agreement is mandatory. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

As a Data Analysis Intern, your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Assisting in data processing and cleaning using tools like Excel, Python, or R. 
  • Creating and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards using PowerBI and Google Looker Studio. 
  • Supporting data analysis projects to derive insights for marketing campaigns. 
  • Helping to prepare reports and presentations for internal teams and clients. 
  • Assisting in the collection and organization of data from various sources. 
  • Learning about and applying basic data quality and governance principles. 
  • Supporting the team in daily data-related tasks and projects. 
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for process improvements. 
  • Gaining exposure to marketing automation concepts and tools. 

 

PROFILE 

  • A genuine interest in any of the following areas, including but not limited to Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization techniques. 
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferably Python or R). 
  • Experience with Excel and an eagerness to learn more advanced data tools. 
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts. 
  • Hands-on experience or strong interest in learning PowerBI and Google Looker Studio. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets. 
  • Your knack for solving problems and your keen attention to detail ensure excellence in every aspect of your work. 
  • Enthusiasm for learning about marketing and advertising technology. 
  • Proficiency in English is a must, and fluency in French, Dutch, or any additional language is a valuable asset.
