SocialCode is a digital media and technology company that manages digital advertising for the world's leading consumer brands across the world’s largest platforms: Facebook/Instagram, Google, Amazon, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat and TikTok. The Strategy team is responsible for strategic planning and innovation for SocialCode’s biggest clients. As Director, Strategy, your focus will be developing and iterating on proposals, recommendations, and insights to grow clients’ businesses while representing SocialCode’s unique point of view in the market. You will work closely with the VP of Strategy and cross-department leadership to uplevel the way we service clients with cross-channel media planning, audience and targeting recommendations, measurement and testing, new platform and LOB expansion, etc. You will play an integral part in the service and growth of some of SocialCode’s biggest and most innovative brands!

HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT

You will be tasked to: 

  • Oversee and uplevel the work of the client service teams on key SocialCode clients, and act as a point of contact internally and externally to elevate SocialCode’s strategic approach
  • Own 3-5 top client partnerships in collaboration with the Account Management lead
  • Develop and deliver strategic client recommendations and presentations
  • Challenge clients to think about their business in a different way, demonstrating that SocialCode is a key partner in helping them achieve and exceed their goals
  • Help develop SocialCode vertical strategies, including retail, CPG, finserv, and QSR, along with an over-arching SocialCode platform mix strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-department leadership to uplevel strategic thinking and contribute to the evolution of the SocialCode story
  • Serve as a key contributor to SocialCode’s POV on emerging platforms and platform updates
  • Leverage relevant data, research, and insights to deliver effective solutions and grow clients’ businesses
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and provide thoughtful and relevant recommendations based on clients’ individual needs



REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or BS degree with an emphasis in marketing, advertising, or business
  • 7-13 years experience in media or advertising
  • 6+ years of media strategy experiences with some programmatic background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment
  • Energetic, relentless drive to succeed, TEAM player

  • Outstanding ability to build and maintain client relationships 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to storytell 
  • Existing direct client relationships preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with a team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
  • Highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
  • Experience calling on one or more of the following verticals: auto, financial, spirits, telcom, pharma, CPG, tech, QSR, retail
  • Critical thinking ability
  • Proficiency with G-suite and Microsoft Office
