Our Sales Finance team is looking to add a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst to focus on financial analysis and strategic planning. As a part of the Sales Finance team, you will act as a key finance partner to our fast-growing sales organization. You will be responsible for performing financial analysis and modeling, designing and preparing the financial plans and budgets, as well as analyzing, interpreting and communicating financial information to management. The position requires a well-rounded individual who has a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high growth environment, as well as strong business partner management skills.

This position is an Individual Contributor and reports to the Sr. Manager, Sales Finance.

Responsibilities: 

  • Become a trusted business partner to the Sales organization in support of strategic financial analysis and insights into corporate financial performance
  • Ensure business units’ financial and operating decisions are made on the basis of timely and accurate financial data
  • Support annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts for the sales organization. Closely managing the headcount hiring plan, including understanding relationships to bookings, quota and commissions
  • Become an expert on our Sales Capacity Model and reporting of Sales Metrics
  • Partner with the company’s accounting team for month-end and quarter-end close, driving internal processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results
  • Support the month-end, quarter-end, year-end financial reporting. Prepare accruals, review journal entries, ensure accurate financial results and provide variance analysis
  • Prepare presentations with recommendations and summaries of financial results, forecasted results, analysis and insights for Senior Management.
  • Prepare monthly financial review packages for business partners in order to review expenses, discuss variances and update forecasts
  • Monthly forecasting related to headcount, department expenses, corporate allocations and company software spend
  • Create reporting in order to help track and manage department spend and headcount decisions 
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis on spend in order to understand and align on business and financial goals
  • Work with Corporate Finance in order to accurately forecast company allocations

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in a FP&A role
  • Exceptional attention to details with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Solid accounting/finance experience, including knowledge of GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills.  Experience with Adaptive Insights and/or Workday is a plus
  • Requires a can-do attitude in approaching complex problems
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and global environment
