We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to come aboard! Our SDRs will work hand in hand with Inside Sales to generate leads and build customer pipelines. This is an entry-level role with a dedicated growth path and the training to be a great technical sales professional. We are looking for self-starters with a passion for technology and people.
As a Sales Development Representative at Snowflake you will:
Evangelize Snowflake’s unique position in the emerging Data Economy
Generate quality meetings with key stakeholders in data-driven companies through proactive outbound prospecting methods.
Work alongside District Managers and Account Executives in the field to prospect into your assigned geographical territory and qualify new opportunities.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Snowflake Data Platform to provide value to prospects.
Develop best-in-class sales and prospecting techniques to maximize prospect interaction.
Exceed weekly KPIs: phone calls, tailored emails, InMails and other forms of outreach.
Participate in ongoing sales training with industry experts in order to continuously grow your knowledge of the industry and product.
Follow Command of Message methodology through every sales interaction.
Consistently uphold Snowflake's company values.
Strive towards consecutive quarters of over-achievement and demonstrate the ability to be a strong Account Executive.
Our ideal Sales Development Representative will have:
1+ year of SDR or SaaS sales experience required.
Must be interested in pursuing a career in sales.
Four-year college degree from a top institution.
Demonstrated track record of over-achievement in positions with significant accountability.
Strong in-person, presentation, phone, and written communication skills.
Must be able to interact and communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Must possess exceptional time management skills along with a solid sense of intrinsic motivation.
Superior business acumen; must understand and articulate how Snowflake impacts organizations’ bottom line in a compelling way.
Ability to adapt to change quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude.
A strong sense of genuine curiosity about all the ways that business's today leverage data to make better, quicker decisions.
Understand and embody Snowflake’s company values.
Nice to haves:
Prior SDR/BDR experience is a plus but not required.
Prior experience at high-growth, SaaS company.
Salesforce experience is a plus but not required.
