Job Summary:

The Metadata DQC Analyst, Central Repertoire and Metadata Group will report directly to Senior Metadata Analyst of Central Repertoire and Metadata Group.

The Metadata DQC Analyst, Central Repertoire and Metadata Group, responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:

  • Support SME Labels and Affiliates in creating, maintaining and policing “Best in Class” Metadata
  • Review, improve, and distribute existing system and ad-hoc reports to support high data quality
  • Analyze new metadata concerns and collaborate with IT groups to establish new DQC reports
  • Oversee progress in resolution of known issues with colleagues within CRG and escalate to management when assistance for closure is needed
  • Coordinate with Sales Processing groups and other Sony departments to ensure timely closure of metadata errors
  • Coordination and oversight of off-site outsourced staff (WNS)
  • Assist in the creation and coordination of regular and ad-hoc management reports
  • Address special projects as they arise and assess underlying needs
  • Provide professional support for client’s corporate metadata environment, specifically around iTunes
  • Utilize Business Production Outsourcing to monitor worldwide metadata for Sony Affiliates and Labels to ensure iTunes style guidelines are being followed to comply with iTunes Requirements
