As a Sr. Product Manager, you will lead our Update & Approval Requests (UAR) team in defining and delivering delightful user-facing experiences that drive customer engagement for process and project management solutions. The UAR team delivers critical components that can make or break solutions built on Smartsheet; if solution builders can’t get their teams to update information, or move work through their processes, the solutions they build simply won’t be successful. You’ll own the core update and approval transactional web experiences on both desktop and mobile. You'll partner with other product and customer-facing teams across the organization to address critical business needs and develop process management solutions for our SMB and enterprise customers alike. You'll ensure customers' first touch with our platform is seamless, performant, and delightful.

You will report to a Director of Product Management and can be based remotely, or in Boston, MA where the Engineering team works, or in our Bellevue, WA headquarters.

You will:

  • Understand the needs of process, program, and project management professionals to build products with great market fit and that fuel future growth
  • Iterate on a compelling charter and vision for our UAR capabilities
  • Work with our customers to ensure their needs are met by our current and future roadmap
  • Be as comfortable in a room of engineers discussing business logic as you are with clients building relationships and understanding their needs
  • Drive the release process end-to-end: Establish the roadmap, break down the work into a well-prioritized plan, execute and iterate
  • Know when to make trade-offs, when to hold firm, and be willing to stand behind your decision
  • Work closely with both your own and cross-organizational teams to create compelling and compliant customer experiences
  • Support other duties as needed

You have:

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience
  • Experience working with process, project, or program managers as customers, especially within the Enterprise space
  • Experience delivering software products from inception to launch
  • Pride in creating delightful user experiences
  • Focus on metrics and analytics
  • Experience with agile development processes and frequent product releases
  • High degree of adaptability/flexibility, able to integrate quickly with an existing team
  • A strong “listen-first” mentality, allowing both customers and coworkers to express their needs or points of view
  • Technical degree, or equivalent experience working with engineers to make product decisions on behalf of customers
