Smartsheet's Product Marketing group is responsible for driving in-app engagement (getting users to spend more time using our app) as well as building and executing campaigns that help customers and prospects take advantage of new features and capabilities, and expand their perception of what's possible with our product. We have recently started to build and run marketing campaigns targeted at the executive audience (VP+) with a goal of driving these prospects down the funnel to in-person engagements and turning them into warm leads for our strategic sales organization.
As the Product Marketing, Audience Team Intern in the Product Marketing group, you would be responsible for building and executing 2-3 additional executive campaigns to be run over the summer. Some examples of the themes for these campaigns include: OKRs/goal alignment, transformation, or collaboration/breaking down silos. You would collaborate with teams across SMAR to build and run these campaigns, including: demand generation, brand, product marketing, and marketing automation. By the end of the internship, you will have gained experience building and executing targeted marketing campaigns, including analyzing the results and presenting recommendations on how to improve and refine these executive campaigns moving forward. You will also have the opportunity to present these campaigns and the results to Smartsheet leadership across sales and product organizations.
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Marketing undergrad major, marketing focus in MBA, and/or 1+ years of professional marketing
- Passion for technology industry
- Seeking a job in product marketing post-graduation
