Reporting to the Director of Campaign Services, the Campaign Engineer will have a primary focus on execution of email/website content deliverables for our clients. The ideal candidate is someone who has the skills required to troubleshoot and execute campaigns across a variety of web environments and email service platforms (ESP). This is a full-time, salaried position based in our Indianapolis HQ office, and we are not considering candidates from outside the area or remote/work from home candidates at this time.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, execute and maintain highly personalized emails and website content projects for full-service client accounts (top retail, travel, and financial brands and companies)
  • Ongoing development of company’s email and web template library
  • Construction of design assets for email campaigns and website content
  • Client email campaign troubleshooting and support as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of development experience in email marketing and/or email development
  • Advanced, intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketch
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn quickly and strong passion for learning
  • Ability to manage workflow and tight deadlines but maintain a professional demeanor and remain ‘calm under pressure’
  • Adaptable and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with external clients

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of email & web marketing best practices
  • Knowledge of media queries and responsive design
  • Knowledge of email service platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Experian EMSl, Marketo, Responsys, IBM Silverpop, etc.
  • Familiarity with testing processes for email development, including a knowledge of common email clients and testing tools such as Litmus
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms is a plus
  • Experience working in a SaaS based company a plus
